Durango has in its history more than 150 feature films filmed in state territory, in various locations among which Paseo del Viejo Oeste stands out. This theme park, which has been the setting for dozens of films, was built in the 1960s. For a very small contribution you are taken from the centre of Durango to the village. In this old movie set you can enjoy a lot of spectacular western-style shows every weekend.
Every Saturday and Sunday there are three different shows, starting with the first one at noon and ending with the last one in the evening. Visitors will be involved in the show so it came that Jonathan had to show his acting talent.
Apart from these shows you can enjoy restaurants, souvenir shops, wagon rides, horse rentals or souvenir photographs with cowboy costumes.
